DO YOU NEED DOT COMPLIANCE?

You need to be in compliance if you operate any motor vehicle licensed for more than 12,001 lbs. in intra-state commerce or you operate a commercial motor vehicle with a gross vehicle weight rating greater than 10,000 lbs. in inter-state commerce.

Can You Answer These Questions?

 1. Do you maintain a drivers qualification file with the Mandatory Items in that file?

2. Do the drivers employment applications have the required information?

3. Are you conducting the mandatory drug and alcohol testing for CDL drivers and maintaining the necessary paperwork?

4. Do you conduct inquiries to past employers for the previous 3 years on your class E and CDL drivers?

5. Do your drivers have the appropriate license?

6. Are you doing annual motor vehicle reviews?

7. Do you travel greater than 100 miles from your place of business? If so, do you maintain the necessary paperwork?

8. Do your supervisors of CDL drivers have the required drug and alcohol training?

9. Are you conducting and documenting pre and post inspections on your vehicles?

If You Are Not Sure Of Any Questions, Or Do Not Have This Information, You Need Brittney's DOT Program.
