HEARING ANNOUNCEMENT

OSHA’s hearing conservation program requires employers to monitor noise exposure levels in a way that accurately identifies employees exposed to noise levels at or above 85 decibels (dB) averaged over eight working hours, or an eight hour time-weighted average. (TWA).

Employers are also required to maintain an audiometric testing program for these exposed individuals. The testing program includes baseline audiograms, training, and annual audiograms to determine hearing changes or shifts. These tests are to be conducted by a Occupational Hearing Conservationist, Licensed Audiologist or Physician.

Brittney, Inc. now has an Occupational Hearing Conservationist on staff and can complete the baseline and annual tests at your facility without major disruptions to your daily operations. Call Jerry Raines at 417-866-8686 for details or scheduling.
