ENVIRONMENTAL ANNOUNCEMENT If we are not already completing your state and EPA environmental reports you may need these following reports for your business. Call Mark Warnow at 417-866-8686 for help if your business requires these reports, or if you don’t know what you need. TIER II – If you have 10,000 pounds of any listed hazardous chemical stored on your site. Or extremely hazardous chemicals in smaller regulated amounts. This report identifies to Missouri Emergency Response Commission, the Local Emergency Response Planning Commissioner and the Local Fire Department the material, where it is stored, and how much. EIQ’s – Emissions Inventory Questionnaire, required for anyone who has an air-operating permit from the state. Identifies all air emissions from point sources, such as paint booth stacks, and from fugitive systems, such as plating systems without specific exhaust systems and even storage piles where emissions are not controlled. PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT – Anytime a new emission point, exhaust or ventilation stack, is added to the facility and hazardous chemicals, such as paints, carbon monoxide, PM10 in regulated amounts will be emitted into the atmosphere you must have an application on file at the State for Permit To Construct. Must be submitted before construction takes place and takes up to 180 days for state to process. FORM R – Companies with a Standard Identification Classification (SIC) from 20xxx to 39xxx, more than 10 employees, and manufacture, process or otherwise use regulated quantities of hazardous chemicals. Consider the following: Do you generate wastes that are flammable, corrosive, explosive, toxic, or reactive by mixing with other chemicals, or otherwise determined to be hazardous by the EPA? Are you registered as a hazardous waste generator, should you be? Do you pack, store, or ship and track by manifests your hazardous waste per State regulations? Do you submit the required waste summary reports to your State Environmental Agency? Are your waste disposal records up to date? Are your employees trained in hazardous waste management? Do you store 10,000 pounds of materials that require an MSDS? Do you submit TIER II’s, Form R’s, EIQ’s, do you know what they are? Do you need/have an air-operating permit from the State? Have you installed, or do you plan on installing a new process that my emit air pollutants? Have you applied for a Permit to Construct 180 days prior to operating? Do you have a person designated to handle your environmental issues? Are you compliant with state storm and wastewater regulations?
